Alrik will open his studio to the public, offering a glimpse into the artistic process of sculpting where he will be showcasing the development of “Girl and the Music,” an elevated life size sculpture of a woman.

Revealing the mysterious process in which matter becomes art, visitors will be given the chance to experience the work in a state of metamorphosis. The clay will be wet, and features still finding definition, only for fleeting moment before the material is reworked and transformed through the molding and casting process.
